After Breakfast proceed to Cherrapunji, the second wettest place on earth. Enroute visit the gorgeous Seven Sister Falls, Mawsmai Cave and Thangkharang Park. Later head back to Shillong. In the West Jaintia Hills, Dawki has the clean and beautiful Umngot River which is the significant part of it. On the way back, you will visit the spectacular Root Bridge. Overnight stay in Shillong.
After Breakfast, check-out of the hotel and proceed to Guwahati for a pilgrimage tour to Kamakhya Temple, Umananda Temple and Balaji Temple. Evening enjoy the optional river cruise at Brahmaputra river. Overnight stay in Guwahati.
After Breakfast, check-out of the hotel and proceed to Kaziranga about 240 Kms which is a UNESCO world heritage site and famous for the one horned Rhino. On arrival, check-in at the resort. Overnight at the resort in Kaziranga.
Have an early Breakfast and proceed for an exciting early morning elephant ride through the Park for 1 Hr for experiencing beautiful wild life closely. Post lunch visit the Central range of the park on a Jeep safari, the drive will ideally introduce you to the park and its ecology as the route passes through the entire spectrum of habitat types in the area. After breakfast proceed to Kohima about 240 Km & Check in to Hotel, Post lunch visit Jakhama village to experience the real Angami Naga tribal way of living as you take a village walk. Also visit the Heritage Complex where the Hornbill festival is celebrated every year. Overnight stay in Kohima.
After breakfast proceed to Imphal about 140 Km which is the capital of Manipur. Visit Shri Govindajee Temple and Manipur State Museum. Evening free at leisure to visit the Khwairamband Bazaar a local market run by mothers. Overnight stay in Imphal.
After breakfast, proceed to explore the city covering Zoological Garden and Khonghampat rchidarium, later drive to Moirang about 45 km is the ancient capital of the Manipuri Kings. Passing by the local villages you can see the Sadu Chiru waterfall and the Japanese war memorial which reflects the history of the Second World War. Visit the Keibul Lamjao National Park which is the only floating park in the world. Nearby is the Loktak Lake and Sendra Island with mesmerizing views of the Loktak lake which is the largest fresh water lake in the North East. Overnight stay in Imphal.
After breakfast, check out from the hotel, the day is free at leisure to do your own activities in and around Imphal. Evening you will be transferred to your residence, Airport, Bus Terminus or Railway Station for your onward journey.
