DAY TRIP: BANGALORE – MELKOTE – THONNUR LAKE

The morning trip starts from Bangalore at 6.30 Am. Pick up from hotel, Residence, Railway station, Bus stand, or any other location as customer wish and drive to Melkote about 150 Km. On Arrival, Melkote town visits the ancient Cheluvaraya Swamy temple. Spend time going around the temple appreciating the sculptural brilliance of musical pillars inside the temple, Raya Gopura, Akka – Thangiyara honda (twin tanks) Later visit Thonnur Lake about 14 Km. A huge lake was built in the 17th century for irrigation in the region. You may also go for boating hear, Visit the Nambi Narayana Swami temple established by Saint Ramanujacharya which is on the banks of the lake. Drive back to Bangalore by evening. On arrival, you will be transferred to your Residence, Airport, Bus Terminus, or Railway Station for your onward journey.
