Gir Forest tour

Morning trip starts from Ahmadabad. Pickup from hotel, Residence, Airport, Bus Terminus, Railway station or any other location as customer wish and drive to Gir National Park about 327 Km. On Arrival check into the wildlife resort.

Besides Africa, Gir National Park is the only place in the world where you can spot lions roaming free in the wild. It also offer habitat to a variety of smaller animals and birds. Other predators recorded in the park include the Panther and the Hyena, The Indian Deer, Sambar, Chital (spotted deer), Nilgai (blue bull), Chinkara, the Chowsingha (four horned antelope), the bear and the long tailed Langur. Overnight stay at the resort.

After Breakfast, We will explore the Gir National Park in the morning. We will also enter the national park again in the afternoon for its second view. The wildlife safaris are organized in the sanctuary thrice in a day, two scheduled rides in the morning season while the last one will be organized late in the afternoon. Apart from the mammals, you can also view a very large population of marsh crocodile that is among the 40 species of reptiles and amphibians recorded in the sanctuary. Gir National Park is also a paradise for bird watchers with a check-list of more than 250 birds. Overnight stay at the resort.

After breakfast check out from resort & leave for Ahmedabad. En-route, visit the Uperkot fort at Junagadh, one of the ancient forts built by Chandra Gupta. Later you will be transferred to your residence, Airport, Bus Terminus or Railway Station for your onward journey.
