Walk through its colonnaded streets, temples, and theaters. After lunch, drive to Amman for a panoramic city tour including the Citadel and Roman Theater. Check into your hotel for dinner and overnight stay in Amman.
After breakfast, drive to Madaba to see the 6th-century Mosaic Map in St. George’s Church. Continue to Mount Nebo, where Moses is said to have seen the Promised Land. Descend to the Dead Sea, the lowest point on earth, for a floating experience and mineral mud therapy. Later, drive south along the Desert Highway to reach Petra by evening. Dinner and overnight in Petra.
Dedicate the entire day to the wonders of Petra. Walk through the Siq gorge to the Treasury, then continue past the Street of Facades, Royal Tombs, Roman Theatre, and Colonnaded Street.
