Arrive at Bandaranaike International Airport, where you will be welcomed by your Travel Comfort representative. Begin your scenic journey to Kandy with a stop at Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage around 9:30 AM to watch elephants being fed and bathed by the riverside. Continue to Kandy and check into your hotel by afternoon. In the evening, visit the Temple of the Tooth Relic, stroll along Kandy Lake, and explore the gem museum and Arts & Crafts Centre. After breakfast, visit the famous Royal Botanical Gardens at Peradeniya, home to orchids and giant bamboo. Then proceed to Nuwara Eliya, stopping at a tea plantation and factory for a guided tour and tea tasting. Arrive by early afternoon and check into your hotel. Later, take a city tour of Nuwara Eliya, visiting Gregory Lake, colonial post office, golf club, and Anglican Church. Known as “Little England,” this hill town offers cool climates and scenic beauty. After breakfast, spend the day exploring the highlights around Nuwara Eliya. Visit the Seetha Amman Temple, tied to the Ramayana legend, and stroll through the Hakgala Botanical Gardens with its orchids and landscaped gardens. In the afternoon, drive to Pidurutalagala viewpoint (restricted summit entry) for panoramic views of Sri Lanka’s highest mountain. You may also enjoy a boat ride on Gregory Lake or leisure at your resort. Return for dinner and overnight stay in Nuwara Eliya.
Check out after breakfast for a long but scenic drive back to Colombo (approx. 5–6 hours). Arrive by early afternoon and check into your hotel. After a short rest, enjoy a city tour of Colombo, including Galle Face Green, Independence Square, Gangaramaya Temple, National Museum, Pettah Bazaar, and colonial Fort district. In the evening, shop at Majestic City, House of Fashion, or Noritake. Dinner and overnight stay in Colombo.
