Itinerary

DAY 01: HARIDWAR TO GUPTKASHI (220 KM / 8–9 HRS)

Arrive at Dehradun Airport / Haridwar Railway Station, meet & assist, then drive via Moolgarh and Lambgaon beside the emerald Mandakini near Tilwara. On reaching Guptkashi—the legendary “Hidden Kashi”—check in and, time permitting, visit the Ardh Narishwar Temple. Evenings are pleasantly cool (25–30°C in summer). Use the time to prep for Kedarnath: keep warm layers, rain gear, ID proofs, and essentials handy. Enjoy dinner at the hotel and rest well for an early start tomorrow.

DAY 02: GUPTKASHI → KEDARNATH (30 KM ROAD TO SONPRAYAG/GAURIKUND + 19 KM TREK)

After breakfast, drive to Sonprayag and shuttle to Gaurikund, base for the Kedarnath trek. Ascend ~19 km (pony/doli available at own cost) past roaring streams and pine-clad slopes to the sanctum of Lord Kedarnath, one of the 12 Jyotirlingas. Check in to simple accommodation near the shrine and attend the evening Aarti against snowy Himalayan backdrops. Nights are cold (0–10°C in season); carry thermals, gloves, headlamp, and a poncho. Dinner and overnight at Kedarnath. (Helicopter option if pre-booked; tickets extra.)

DAY 03: KEDARNATH → GUPTKASHI (DOWN TREK 19 KM + 30 KM / ~1 HR ROAD)

Rise early for puja and darshan in the serene morning hours. After breakfast, begin the careful descent to Gaurikund/Sonprayag and reconnect with your driver at the agreed pickup point (networks can be patchy—keep buffer time). Drive to Guptkashi and check in. Evening free to unwind and recover from the trek; hydrate well and keep knee support/trekking poles handy if needed. Enjoy a hot dinner and overnight stay amid the Mandakini valley’s calm mountain air.

DAY 04: GUPTKASHI TO BADRINATH (215 KM / ~7 HRS)

Post breakfast, traverse spectacular valleys to reach Badrinath. Check in, then purify with a dip at Tapt Kund before darshan of Badri Vishal. Explore sacred sites within 3 km: Mana Village (last Indian village), Vyas Gufa, Ganesh Gufa, Charan Paduka, Bhim Pul, and the visible Saraswati “mukh.” In the evening, attend the soulful Aarti at Badrinath Temple. Even in summer, nights are nippy (8–18°C)—keep woollens ready. Dinner and overnight in Badrinath.

DAY 05: BADRINATH → JOSHIMATH → RUDRAPRAYAG (160 KM / ~4 HRS)

Enjoy an optional early darshan, then drive to Joshimath for the revered Narsingh Temple (winter seat of Badrinath). Continue along terraced hills and river bends to Rudraprayag, famed for the confluence of Alaknanda and Mandakini. Check in and relax by the riverside ambience; evenings tend to be pleasant with cooler nights. Reflect on the blessings of both Dhams and capture confluence views before dinner. Overnight stay in Rudraprayag.

DAY 06: RUDRAPRAYAG → HARIDWAR / RISHIKESH (165 KM / 5–6 HRS) – TOUR ENDS

After breakfast, drive towards Rishikesh, the serene Yoga Capital on the Ganga. Visit Laxman Jhula and Ram Jhula (time permitting), then continue to Haridwar or opt for Dehradun Airport / Haridwar Railway Station drop as per your schedule. Your blessed Do Dham Yatra concludes with tranquil river memories, mountain vistas, and a heart full of devotion
