Munnar

Munnar is a beautiful place in Kerala, which cannot be portrayed in a single canvas, which is also called the “Kashmir of South India” a popular honeymoon destination. Munnar got its name from its strategic location at the confluence of three rivers Muthirapuzha, Nallathanni and Kundala Rivers. Moonu means three and Aru means river. Thekkady

Alleppey

Alleppey is a coastal town where one side is the Arabian Sea and other side completely covered by rivers and canals which is known as “Venice of the East” Alleppey, Which is also called as Alappuzha, it become famous for many reasons like the beautiful combination of lakes, lagoons, crisscrossed narrow canals, rivers, coconut palms, paddy fields and many more. Local people live on the banks of these canals and these canals and rivers are part of their daily life. Road access to these villages which are surrounded by small canals and rivers are limited. Therefore, most of the local people are depend on water transport. Another important attraction of Alleppey is the famous and exciting water sport called snake boat race on the second Saturday of August every year. Each snake boat is manned by about 100 oarsmen who are incredibly passionate about the race. Most attractive and relaxing way of exploring Alleppey backwaters is by Houseboat.

Poovar

Poovar is unspoilt and unexplored, which is one among the natural wonders where the Lake, River, Sea and Beach meet the land and opening out to the sea and a dream golden sand beach, the sound of waves and the birds is truly a window into paradise a rare find in Kerala. The area is filled with well preserved local flora, with hundreds of species of spices, exotic flowers, complete with banana and coconut groves. While its water in distinct shades of blue and green are quite tempting to swim in where the salty water of the Arabian Sea meets the freshwater of the Neyyar River, where you have the entire beach to yourself to sit back, relax and sunbathe. It’s the kind of a spot where lounging on the beach, boating in the backwaters and getting to know the fisher community for those seeking utter rest and relaxation in the midst of pristine nature, and on an uncrowded stretch of sand.
