Applicant’s passport valid for at least 6 months after the intended exit date.
2 copies of the visa application form, thoroughly filled out and dated, bearing applicant’s signature.
2 identical passport size, front view, white background and recently-taken photographs.
An official invitation should be sent from the Consular Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
For business, education and humanitarian visas: if an invitation from a receiving party or partner is not sent through Consular Department of the MFA, travelers should submit an invitation received by fax directly from a receiving party in Azerbaijan and a letter of request from the employer.
The applicant must provide the exact phone number and address of the inviting party and also provide a copy of an Azerbaijani Citizen Identity Document, UNLESS an invitation is sent through the Consular Department of the MFA by the inviting party.

If the applicant is staying for less than 72 hours in the Transit Area of the international airport, no visa will be required, but he/she must be carrying a signed passport and ticket(s) indicating onward travel.
