Post breakfast, drive to Somnath, stopping en route at Porbandar to visit Kirti Mandir (Mahatma Gandhi’s birthplace) and Sudama Temple. Continue your journey to Somnath and check in to your hotel. Later, visit the holy Somnath Temple, Triveni Sangam, and Bhalka Tirth, where Lord Krishna is believed to have left his mortal body. Witness the mesmerizing light and sound show at Somnath Temple in the evening. Dinner and overnight stay in Somnath.
After breakfast, check out from your hotel and begin your return drive to Ahmedabad, passing through scenic countryside and small towns. Enjoy lunch en route. Upon arrival, check in to your hotel and relax after the long drive. Evening free for leisure or shopping at Manek Chowk or Law Garden. Dinner and overnight stay at Ahmedabad.
After breakfast, explore the heritage and culture of Ahmedabad. Visit Sabarmati Ashram, Sidi Saiyyed Mosque, and the intricate Adalaj Stepwell. Later, proceed to the majestic Akshardham Temple in Gandhinagar (28 km / 1 hr) to marvel at its architecture and spiritual ambiance. Depending on your flight timing, transfer to Ahmedabad Airport for your onward journey with divine memories of Gujarat’s temple trail.
