Arrive in Bhopal, where you’ll be welcomed and transferred to your hotel. After a short rest, begin exploring the old city, known for being ruled by the Begums for over a century. Around 11:00 AM, visit the Tribal Museum and Manav Sangrahalaya (Museum of Mankind) to understand India’s diverse cultural heritage. Post lunch, unwind at Upper Lake and take a scenic stroll along VIP Road as the sun sets. Overnight stay in Bhopal.
After breakfast, depart at 8:00 AM for Sanchi, just 50 km away. Visit the ancient Sanchi Stupa, monasteries, and Ashokan pillars – iconic symbols of India’s Buddhist heritage. After lunch, continue driving to Khajuraho (328 km), arriving by evening. Check into your hotel and later attend the Light & Sound Show at the Western Group of Temples around 7:00 PM. Overnight stay in Khajuraho.
After breakfast, explore the Western Group of Temples, including Kandariya Mahadeo, Chitragupta, Vishwanath, and Lakshmana Temples, showcasing intricate carvings and artistic excellence. After lunch, visit the Eastern Group of Temples—Brahma, Vamana, and Javari Temples—before driving to Panna (90 km). Arrive by evening for dinner and overnight stay at a forest lodge in Panna.
Enjoy breakfast and set out on an enriching wilderness walk with the Pardhi community at 8:00 AM. Experience their storytelling, forest wisdom, and tracking techniques. Around 1:00 PM, enjoy a traditional meal with the community. In the afternoon, visit the scenic Raneh Waterfalls and Pandav Caves before returning to your lodge by evening. Overnight stay in Panna.
After breakfast, drive to Orchha, a beautiful riverside town. On arrival, visit the Raja Ram Temple, where the deity is revered as a king and honored with a gun salute during each aarti. Later, enjoy rafting or kayaking in the Betwa River. Explore the local market for Chanderi sarees and Dhokra artifacts, and witness the Light & Sound Show at Orchha Fort by evening. Overnight stay in Orchha.
After early breakfast, check out and drive towards Jhansi. En route, visit the Rani Mahal Museum, which celebrates the bravery of Rani Lakshmibai. Continue to Bhopal, arriving by evening for check-in and overnight stay.
After breakfast, visit Bhimbetka Rock Shelters (45 km), a UNESCO site showcasing prehistoric cave paintings dating back over 30,000 years. Then, proceed to Bhojeshwar Temple to see its grand, unfinished Shiva Linga. After lunch, drive to Indore, check into your hotel, and explore the vibrant Sarafa Bazaar at night for street food delicacies. Overnight stay in Indore.
After breakfast, enjoy some free time for shopping or leisure. Later, you’ll be dropped at the airport, railway station, or bus stand for your onward journey, concluding your enchanting Madhya Pradesh experience.
