TOURIST VISA

Documents Required

Applicant’s passport valid for at least 6 months after the intended exit date.
2 copies of the visa application form, thoroughly filled out and dated, bearing applicant’s signature.
2 original passport size, front view, white background and recently-taken photographs.
Letter from the employer explaining the purpose of the trip, dates of travel, companies to be visited and guaranteeing sufficient funds.
Copy of round trip tickets or confirmed itinerary
Copy of International Certificate of Vaccination for Yellow Fever.
Travelers will be asked for their original Yellow Fever vaccination certificate upon arrival.
If the applicant is staying for less than 24 hours in the Transit Area of the international airport, no visa will be required, but he/she must be carrying a signed passport and ticket(s) indicating onward travel
Visas may be extended at the offices of “Security National” in Bamako. Proof of sufficient funds, accommodation, and onward travel may be required. Visa must be extended while still valid. The length of the extension is at the discretion of the local authorities.
